It’s October 22nd and looking for a toy ball for my niece I was quite surprised to see that the stores have already taken out Christmas decorations.
I mean Halloween has not even passed yet so decorations for both of these events mix wit each other. It’s kind of funny to see all the orange color in one section and then all of a sudden your eyes meet the other type of glitter and shine – the Christmas one.
I was just searching through my emails and I have found it – I have been following this person and she says she has already put up the inside Christmas decorations. Her children loved decorating for Christmas so they skipped the Halloween and jumped right into Christmas. So I guess they did it around October 15th. But she only dared to decorate the inside! Too afraid to do it on the outside for fear of her neighbors thinking she’s gone mad (these are her exact words).
I found this so funny that it just stuck to my mind and I’ve decided to make a post about it. I live alone (with my cat – what a cliche : ) ) in a very, very small apartment and I really don’t care to bother too much with any kind of decorations.
I had a small green Christmas tree but my cat destroyed it and I have no idea why I didn’t buy a new one last year. I was too indecisive whether to get a green or white Christmas tree so I just bought a nice Christmas wall decorations, had some garlands and that was pretty much all I did. It still did look good as it is a small room so any decorations are immediately visible.
Well, I plan on doing more this year. Thinking about it it would be actually smart to start early Christmas preparations to avoid all the crazy crowds in the shops. I have also tried online shopping with home delivery and I must say that I absolutely love it! If only I had Amazon shipping to my town I believe I would do a lot of online shopping.
Online shopping is so comfortable: you just sit and browse, have fun, click some buttons and people deliver to you what you want. It is such a royal feeling!
My city starts Christmas decorations in the middle of November and I must admit they have some truly stunning pieces. Especially in the city centre, whenever I walk there during the Christmas holiday I feel like in a fairy tale. I really love the hanging lights and balls – they are the most beautiful part to me. I will post some images of this year decorations.
And I just realized that I can’t wait for the Christmas madness to start! Oh, I can’t! :))) I feel so much love and positive vibrations and I just wish that we have the same spirit throughout the whole year. What I life would that be! Everybody loving and kind to each other, happy and smiling. What a heaven on Earth if we could have Christmas celebration every month! So if you love Christmas just start preparing for it little by little, even this early. You’ll feel good in the process and this way you can prolong it.
