We all know who absolutely needs to get the best gift from us on Christmas: the children.
It is so refreshing to see how they are experiencing Christmas. I have a 4 year old niece that I adore and love more than anything in this world. Yesterday the Christmas tree got decorated at my sister’s home. Oh joy! Especially the blinking lights were a hit. She jumped and screamed around.
At one point she even climb up a chair to turn off the light herself and we all had to watch how the lights blink and agree with her that tree is a very beautiful over and over again. She just could not get enough.
I do feel excited for Christmas but that excitement is nothing compared to what children feel. For them it is such a magical time.
We also took a walk in the near city mall. They have put up some moving figures, the old ones from last year. There was an igloo, a Santa skiing, a dancing polar bear and a waving snowman.
And yes they were the same from last year but for my niece they were just as good as new. She got so excited that we had to call her mom on the phone so she could tell what she saw.
It is so crazy that I was laughing all the way. To me her joy is the best Christmas. I believe for all parents and relatives is the same.
So eventually we got to the toy part.
She had an eye for two quite expensive Elsa and Anna dolls. I mean they re crazy expensive. I could buy her some really good clothes for that money. Talking about clothes we got these cute pink and grey snow boots, I think they are lovely:
Back to those expensive toys: it is Christmas and on top of it she has a birthday on January the 5th.
And as I was lying in my bed last night I thought about it. She is this age only for so long and these are her childhood memories. So what if I splurge once a year on expensive dolls. To me it is ridiculous but for her – they will make her SO happy.
So this morning I decided: I am getting those two expensive Elsa and Anna dolls for her. So be it. I will film that to remember it :))). It will be a great memory.
So that was my decision. It will make Christmas great for my niece.
I truly believe that if you are having second thoughts about some expensive toys for Christmas that you should make up your mind the way that I did. There is literally no better time to spoil a little your kid. And after all it is once a year. Of course if your budget allows it then you can do it more times a year.
So yesterday I also did some research online to check the latest toys. And I found this great page that can serve you as a great starting point for finding that perfect toy.
It has a few categories so you can narrow your search. I believe I am redirecting you on the right path so that you can find the toy that your child will love most. So here it is:
